Sky News host Gary Hardgrave says freedom is “too often taken for granted” in Australia.
“Our freedom has been ensured by those prepared to defend it,” he said.
“For thousands of years, free societies have operated on this premise, countries, societies like ours have invested effort to defend our freedom from external threats.”
Mr Hardgrave said Australians have “lost focus” on the “internal threats” to freedom.
“Our freedom is under threat from the encroachment of governments on every aspect of our lives, an encroachment exemplified by taxes, forms, fees, processes and regulations,” he said.
