Sky News host Chris Smith says the “political argy-bargy got physical” between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet.
“New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet decided to throw a very hard object at the body of the Prime Minister, and then shoulder charge him,” he said.
Mr Smith said this occurred in a game of backyard cricket in Kirribilli House being held for charity.
“Now I thought Perrottet looked incredibly like a cricketer, with his left arm fast bowling, but Albo was up to the task, with a skilful hook to the boundary,” he said.
“But the shoulder charge might hurt New South Wales, next time the Premier needs a loan.”
