Former CIA Director Leon Panetta says Russian President Vladimir Putin feels cornered.
“He’s fighting a two-front war, he’s fighting a war against Moscow and the hardliners who are criticising him for losing this war, and he’s fighting a war in Ukraine,” Mr Panetta told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“So, Putin is cornered, and that makes him dangerous because when you corner a bully, a bully can be very dangerous.
“I think that’s the situation we’re facing right now.”
